- STARMAP investigates statistical problems encountered in
the use of data resulting from aquatic monitoring of the sort advocated
by EPA's Environmental Monitoring and Assessmant Program (EMAP). Find out about that

- STARMAP personnel have developed GIS tools relevant
to the statistical analysis of aquatic systems. These tools
support the automatic delineation of drainage basins above any
point in a stream network. {Link

spatially balanced probability samples. {Link

- STARMAP was developed in response to a Request for
Applications (RFA) announced by EPA's Science to Achieve Results
(STAR) Program October 1, 2000. That RFA is temporarily
unavailable the EPA archive site, so a copy
is temporarily available here.
