Colorado-Wyoming Chapter

The date for the Spring Meeting has been changed from April 16, 2004 to April 23, 2004. The meeting will be held in Boulder at the NCAR Foothills Campus (MAP) (please note this is at the Foothills Campus, not the Mesa Lab) 

Where: Foothills Lab Auditorium, NCAR, 3450 Mithcell Lane, Boulder
When:  1:00 PM. 
Registration: Students $5 and others $10

Scheduled speakers include Karen Kafadar talking on a National Academy of Sciences study on chemical analysis of bullet lead, used by FBI in court cases, and Matt Pocernich talking on "R - A Statistical Environment for Education and Research."

Driving Directions to NCAR Foothills Campus

From Denver:
Hwy 36 West to Foothills Parkway (Hwy 157) North. Take a right at Valmont (east), go to first light at 47th. Take a left (north again). Proceed to Mitchell Lane (before railroad tracks), take a right.  Proceed straight into parking lot. Enter at main entrance in center building.

From Longmont/Ft. Collins:
Take Diagonal Hwy into Boulder until it turns into Foothills Parkway. Take left at Valmont (east), go to first light at 47th. Take a left (north again). Proceed to Mitchell Lane (before railroad tracks), take a right. Proceed straight into parking lot. Enter at main entrance in center building.
