### Fall Meeting - November 7, 2008 - Anschutz Medical Center

The fall meeting will be held Friday, November 7th from ~1 pm to 4:30
pm on the campus of  Anschutz Medical Center - (former Fitzsimmons).
More details will be provided in the coming weeks.

### Student Assistant  Needed - National Center for Atmospheric
Research - Boulder, CO

This may not immediately seem to be an opportunity for a statistics
student - but most of the the responsibilities deal with statistics,
data analysis and data management.

Weather Modification Student Assistant III

Provides assistance for RAL's weather modification program. Assists
with the quality control, data processing, and analysis of aircraft
data collected in Queensland, Australia. May also assist with the data
processing and analysis of radar data collected in Queensland. Some
data analysis will require developing basic computer programs or
modifying existing algorithms. May write or modify data processing
and/or display tools using Matlab, Excel, IDL, Perl or other
resources. Also assists in writing reports summarizing results of the
data analysis.
