Update 6/21/2004: The proceedings of the Conference will be published as a special issue of Environmental and Ecological Statistics.  Manuscripts based on talks presented should be sent to N. Scott Urquhart, Department of Statistics, Colorado State University as attachments to an e-mail message to nsu@stat.colostate.edu by September 1, 2004.   Manuscripts will need to satisfy the content and format requirements of that journal.  Check "Author Instructions" at http://www.kluweronline.com/issn/1352-8505/  for details.  As this will be a special issue edited by Urquhart, submit to him, not to G.P.
