Excursions

Two excursions will be available the afternoon of Wednesday, September 10. More details will be available prior to the conference.

Rocky Mountain National Park ($50, limited availability). The fee will include chartered bus fare, box lunch and admittance into Rocky Mountain National Park. Spectacular views, as shown above, are available along the highest continuous paved road in North America, which crests at the Continental Divide. Below are views of three possible destinations. The tour will depart from the west entranceof the Hilton at 1:00. Click here for additional information.

Brewery Tour in Fort Collins (no fee, limited availability). As of Aug 4, REGISTRATION for this event is now CLOSED. New Belguim is not able to conduct the tour for us as they have done in the past, so we will be going to Fort Collins Brewery with the tour begining at 2:30. Individuals will need to make transportation arrangements to and from the brewery. The Hilton will provide transportation for some persons, with a van departing at 2:15. Transfort (mass transit) is another option: At about 1:45 you could ride MAX from University Station to the Downtown Transit Center.  At DTC, take the 2:10p Transfort route 14 to the Lemay stop.  Coming back buses run once per hour, i.e. 3:37, 4:37, … The fare is $1.20 each way, or $3.00 for a daily pass. Tickets can be purchased at the Univeristy Station via cash or credit card. Click here for addtional information.
