This page was updated 6-12-15. If you are going on an excursion, you will receive an email with additional infomation on departure locations/times and what to bring.
Three optional fee events are being planned. Times and additional information will be posted as details become available. Tour participation is limited.
Rocky Mountain National Park $50 The excursion will include admittance into Rocky Mountain National Park. Spectacular views are available along the highest continuous paved road in North America, which crests at the Continental Divide. A box lunch and transportation will be included. Departure time from on-campus Academic Village is 1:30pm and 1:00 from the Hilton Fort Collins. Estimated RETURN time is 7pm. Click here for Information sheet.
Brewery Tour in Fort Collins $25 We will have a tour/tasting at New Belguim Brewery. Transportion is included, but no lunch. A conference shuttle will leave Academic Village at 1:20pm and from the Hilton at 1:40pm Wednesday. ESTIMATED tour time is 2.5 to 3.0 hours. Click here for Information sheet.
Rafting the Poudre River $95 This will be whitewater rafting on Colorado's only Wild & Scenic river, Cache La Poudre. Our outfitter/guide will be Wanderlust Adventure of Fort Collins. Click here for what you may experience. A box lunch and transportation will be included. Price Includes use of Paddle Jackets,Fleece Pullovers, Life Jacket & Helmet. Wetsuits will be available at extra cost ($10-$12). Here's a longer video. Departure from Hilton Fort Collins (all participants will leave only from the Hilton) is 1:30pm Wednesday.
