On Monday, November 5th, the Geophysical Statistics Project at the National Center for Atmospheric Research will be visiting CSU's Statistics Department. There will be a lunchtime meeting (12:00-1:00) in 008 Statistics, during which Doug Nychka and Steve Sain will be talking about current and upcoming projects at GSP and research opportunities for graduate students. Free pizza will be provided. Please join the group for lunch and to hear about some cool projects at NCAR.
Monday's seminar will consist of three short talks by the GSP postdocs (Bo Li, Cari Kaufman, and Alicia Karspeck). During the afternoon, there will be opportunities to meet with Doug, Steve and the postdocs.
