ABSTRACT
Assessing agreement is an important method which is used in both clinical and manufacturing measurements. The purpose is to assess the performance of a newly released method. In this context, all the frequently-used methods are discussed, detailed analysis is given.
This paper presents the new approaches which are based on graphical techniques, simple calculations and programs. The plotting method is extended to characterize the data. The basic difference various is also extended to the repeated data. The comparison of methods is discussed. Many examples of simulated data are presented to illustrate the effects. Finally a nonparametric approach is described to compare the methods.
