Congratulations to Josh Hewitt on his 2017 ASA Student Paper Competition Win

Congratulations to Joshua Hewitt, graduate student in the Department of Statistics. Hewitt was a winner in the 2017 American Statistical Association's Section on Statistics and the Environment Student Paper Competition. The paper, entitled “Remote Effects Spatial Process Models for Modeling Teleconnections,” was co-authored by J. Hewitt and J. Hoeting of CSU's Department of Statistics as well as J. Done and E. Towler of the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
