ABSTRACT

In this talk I shall provide an overview of several research problems that I have worked on recently.


Statistical techniques can be used to help make the rolling mill process in the steel industry more efficient.


Recursive integration methodologies can be used to numerically evaluate high dimensional integral expressions as a series of low dimensional expressions.


Improved procedures have been developed for constructing confidence intervals for the non-centrality parameter of a non-central t-distribution.


Finally, stepdown procedures with feedback can be used to improve the detection of inferior drugs in clinical trials.
