ABSTRACT

The Colorado School of Public Health is a collaboration among Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Colorado Denver. Our mission is to improve the health of the residents of Colorado and to provide education to the public health workforce in the state. The Department of Biostatistics and Informatics offers three graduate degrees – MS and PhD in Biostatistics, and an MPH with a Biostatistics concentration. We are also involved in the Computational Bioscience program which offers a PhD in Bioinformatics. In this informal seminar, faculty from the department will describe the current programs, student body, and faculty research with the goal of promoting educational and research collaborations with the Department of Statistics at CSU.
