You don't believe that Microsoft has the muscle to squash a good deal?
Down Under, the Australian Capital Territory government is outsourcing
its IT infrastructure.  Two bidders were asked to make their best and 
final offer.  Ferntree offered an all Microsoft solution; Select Computer
Technology offered a mix of Microsoft, Novell and Lotus technology.  Hours
before the bids were due, Select Computer's Microsoft rep sent a fax 
withdrawing its status as an authorized reseller of Microsoft products.
