"Spencer's been deluged with E-mail from Latin-savvy techies about
Microsoft's recent TV ads for Internet Explorer.  The background music
for the ads is "Confutatis Maledictis" from Mozart's Requiem.  Several
readers pointed out that the words to the final crescendo of music
music that accompanies Microsoft's tired 'Where do you want to go
today?' slogan are 'confutatis maledictis, flammis acribus addictis,'
which translates as 'the damned and accused are convicted to the flames
of hell.'"
